Ceremony set to kick off holiday season in Bossier
A Lighting Ceremony is set to kick off holiday season in Bossier at 6 p.m. Friday, November 16 at the Bossier Civic Center. Mayor Walker will light a new 40 foot tall Christmas tree at the Center.

LOL, this sure is a funny contrast to Nixon telling Americans to turn off their Christmas lights during the last energy crisis. I guess this time around, the problem is nothing that higher prices won't solve... Oh yeah, and walking rather than riding in cars...
