Now you get crappy service and ugly stewardesses, but it's dirt cheap. A ride on a 767 today probably costs you half or a third of what that DC-9 flight did and gets you there in half the time.

People in this country want cheap more than they want good. They vote good with their mouths but cheap with their wallets.
