School letting out in a few weeks.. Summer plans?

I know a lot of you have kids or are kids yourselves / may be affected by school schedules for work.

Anyhow, what are you guys' plans for this summer? Vacation or not.

I'm getting a new job hopefully with better pay and that will let me work more hours.. taking ACT/SAT a few more times for fun... maybe go to Pennsylvania and/or New Orleans. Lots of home/chill time included.

All the kids bein out of school for the summer always makes my job a little less pleasant...when kids have that much time on their hands they tend to get into trouble. Not to mention that its HOT! My plan will be to sweat as little as possible, stay as dry as possible...but then, thats ALWAYS the plan.

Pennsylvania huh? Sounds great. I lived in Reading, PA when I was very young..this was like circa 68 or 69 thru 72. I have fond memories of those days...some day I plan to go back and see how much its all changed.

My grandfather is actually from Reading, PA.

We're going there to see his old stomping grounds also. Too bad you won't be joining us, with your personal armed militia!
