I've been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and that's a tough act to follow with the local parades.

You are so correct. I lived in Houma and even the parades there, Shreveport can't compare to. It's too conservative in Shreveport and I have only been to 2 of them due to this. Let the thongs and boobies fly!!!!!!!!! NOT IN SHREVEPORT!

Yeah, in Shreveport parades, we gotta check our U.S. flags at the door. So you KNOW it won't be that fun.
